After about four months of online courses and live sessions, the first session of “Smart Grid: from A to Z” is complete. This was the opportunity to make some improvements for the second session, which is currently available online.
What a pleasure to see people enrol to the SMAGRINET online course. After several months of preparation with all the partners, it is real relief to validate the relevance of the content with the different audiences. All five partners have done the follow up of this programme to provide the best possible experience for the audience.
During this session, more than 430 people enrolled in the programme. Several participants have already completed the programmes and earn their certification. To complete the learning experience, 14 live sessions were organised. These live sessions were the opportunity to exchange on specific topics with experts, ask questions on the lectures and give us feedback.
Improvement for the upcoming session
Of course, the first session was an opportunity to fix some bugs and improve potentially misleading information. To this end, the team corrected some of the quiz questions to adapt the difficulty. Alongside, lectures and videos were also reviewed.
A new feature for the second sessions is the introduction of open badges to rewards the completion of each module.
Some partners have also decided to translate the entire course in order to make it accessible to a wider audience. The second session will thus be available in French and Estonian. It will also be an opportunity to increase the number of participants in collaboration with universities from Ukraine, Poland, Portugal and the Netherlands.
